I find the idea of a wheel that stays in place far more appealing than one that keeps going when you stop.
That being said these look like shiny doilies.

I had a friend in high school who had engine failure in his 2008 Toyota Matrix.
Now that’s a literal glitch in the Matrix.

I’m not into big wheels, or shiny wheels, but if I was I’d want a set of Floaters .

The w heels don't spin because are weighted by the sheer gaudiness of the car.

It is amazing how many different designs these things come in. https://www.carid.com/wheels/spinners-floaters/?page=2#prod-list

Are those Honda CR-V wheels? :p
(at the end, they test an Escape to show how the AWD is supposed to work)

I’d made the assumption that spinners were a thing of the past.
Assume = ass + u + me.

Spinners! I forgot about those!
And, oy, the tacky, it burns!
And also, too: can we ever away with the comically larger and larger wheels? Pretty soon we’ll have wagon wheels on everything...

Even from the factory we get shitty wheels like that. Low profile tires just lead to more pothole induced flats. While I don't want monster truck off road wheels, it's nice to have some tire sidewall.

Only time I see these wheels anymore is when they are on an Infiniti FX or Mercedes R-Class . I don’t even see them at pawn shops these days.

That’s setting the bar pretty low. That’s like saying the Sebring convertible is a better looking car than the murano cross cabriolet.

Nonetheless, a bar has been set.
Super heat level 9000: this is better than an NA Miata.
